Ethan has had 3 fractures this Summer!

Another fracture in September. He also got a haircut! He looks all grown up now! After all of the fractures this summer our plan is to attend the October 8th O.I. Clinic at Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are hoping for some plan of action to help this boy be able to stand without having so many fractures. Good luck Ethan!

We also plan to relax a little while hanging out in the hospital, Ethan will do his pamidronate treatments and then we will tour the city of Salt Lake like we usually do. We are excited to take Ethan to Hogle Zoo and The Living Planet Aquarium, Ethan loves animals and I'm sure he will enjoy both!

Ethan had an arm fracture almost three weeks after that in August. The doctors really wrapped him up tight in this one, I think a few more ace bandages and he will look like a mummy. That is Mikes idea for Ethan and Halloween... making Ethan a mummy, we have enough ace bandages!

Ethan had a leg fracture in July.

Ethan has his first Birthday!

We all received a gift for Ethan's birthday, Aunt Vicki, Samantha and Alex came to visit all the way from New York. What a treat. After the party they all went snowmobiling!

This is Grandma Oset and Matthew. I think Grandma was quite pleased with the Christmas gift Mike picked out for her!

Ethan's first Christmas we spent in Greybull, Wyoming so that we could be with Cousin Matthew and Grandpa Lawrence! We had a great time see where Matthew and Grandpa worked!

This is the first year that we have had all the kids at once for Christmas! WOW! It was chaos but what fun it was to have the Magnificent Seven all together again!

And One Makes Seven! Ethan Dale Oset

I finally get to hold Ethan for the very first time when he was 7 days old! What a blessing to hold my baby boy!

This is Ethan Dale Oset he was born February 19 2007 in Bozeman Montana. He was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta also know as brittle bone disease. He was born with 8-9 broken bones. The doctors weren't sure what to do with him so he was Life Flighted to Salt Lake City Utah. He stayed in the NICU for 8 days after birth. I had to stay at home and recover before heading off to see him, he was accompanied by his father Mike.

This is all of us minus one. This picture was taken awhile after Mike and I met. I believe it was the summer of 2003 It was taken at Sacajawea Park in Livingston Montana. The kids had a blast playing on the newly built equipment.
